To make matters more interesting, CBS News has since responded to Bill’s comments, denying his claim that topics about his personal life were off-limits. “When we agreed to speak with Mr. Belichick, it was for a wide-ranging interview,” a spokesperson for the network told People on April 30. “There were no preconditions or limitations to this conversation. This was confirmed repeatedly with his publisher before the interview took place and after it was completed.”
