Trump urges Ukraine, Russia to meet for 'very high level' talks, says a deal is near
President Donald Trump on Friday called for Ukraine and Russia to meet for high-level talks, adding that they were “very close to a deal”. Trump posted on his Truth Social web site shortly after arriving in Rome late Friday to attend the funeral of Pope Francis that it had been a “good day in talks and meetings with Russia and Ukraine”.
